Summit County Young Democrats (SCYD) is the official youth organization of the Democratic Party in Summit County. It is the local county chapter of the Ohio Young Democrats (OYD) and the Young Democrats of America (YDA).

SCYD is an influential local chapter with a history of providing an impact in Democratic campaigns. The diverse roster from across Summit County ranges from political newcomers to experienced elected officials.

The organization offers fantastic networking and learning opportunities. We meet on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at Democratic Headquarters.  We also monthly social gatherings. See the upcoming schedule here.
